FIRST ALERT: Big warm up to end the week
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Much warmer weather will return to the area to end the week and continue into the weekend. A few rain chances will return to the area as well.
TONIGHT
Today’s weak storm system that brough cloudy skies and a few light showers will exit the region overnight. Skies will gradually clear with a little patchy fog developing. Temperatures will settle into the middle and upper 50s by Thursday Morning.
THURSDAY
With a return to sunny skies and a breezy southwest wind, temperatures will soar on Thursday. Afternoon highs will climb all the way into the lower to middle 70s at the beach and into the lower 80s inland.
THROUGH THE WEEKEND
Above-normal temperatures continue through the weekend with warmest weather on Friday. Gusty winds and plenty of sunshine will push temperatures into the upper 70s to near 80 at the beach and into the middle 80s inland.
