Happy Thanksgiving! Mostly cloudy skies will remain in place through the day today with clouds turning as thick as mom’s mashed potatoes at times by the afternoon. A few light showers or drizzle will be possible by later today.

Warmer weather will continue as afternoon highs climb well into the middle 60s at the beach and lower 60s inland.

Find a good deal on umbrellas. You’ll need it. A storm system will overspread the region on Black Friday with increasing rain. Early morning shoppers will be greeted with cloudy skies and a few showers along with mild temperatures in the 50s to near 60.

Spotty showers quickly turn into a soaking rain from mid morning through the afternoon. Some of the rain could be heavy at times and even a rumble of thunder is possible near the beaches. Despite the rain, temperatures will remain mild with afternoon highs in the middle and upper 60s.
