FIRST ALERT: Cooler, fall finish on the way to end the week
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - A weak cold front will push through the region tonight ushering in slightly cooler, but pleasant weather for the rest of the week.
TONIGHT
Skies will remain mostly cloudy through most of the night with a stray sprinkle possible as a cold front moves through the region. The front is not very strong, but will drop temperatures into the middle and upper 50s by Thursday morning.
THURSDAY
Slightly cooler and drier air will move into the region on Thursday. With a mix of sun and clouds and a bit of a gusty breeze, temperatures will climb into the lower 70s by the afternoon.
INTO THE WEEKEND
Comfortable Fall weather will continue through Friday and into the weekend. Daytime temperatures will climb into the lower 70s from Friday through Sunday. Periods of mostly cloudy skies will be likely through the weekend but rain chances remain minimal - just a 20% chance late in the day on Sunday.

Looking ahead to Halloween, the forecast starts to become a bit more complicated as low pressure may deliver rain to the region. Showers are looking more likely at times on Halloween but widespread and heavy rain does not look likely at this point. The current forecast calls for just a 30% chance of a few showers on Halloween and for trick or treating.
