FIRST ALERT: Turning milder through the end of the week
MYRTLE BEACH, SC (WMBF) - Another cool night will give way to a warming trend on Wednesday. The mild weather will linger through Friday.
Clear skies and nearly calm winds will allow for another chilly fall night. Inland temperatures will drop into the middle and upper 40s while the Grand Strand drops to around 50.
Sunny skies will stick around on Wednesday. The northerly winds that have kept the region on the cool side since Monday will ease up and allow temperatures to start to warm. Afternoon temperatures will climb into the lower 70s.
REST OF THE WEEK
The warming trend will continue through the end of the week as temperatures climb their way toward 80 by Friday afternoon. Sunny skies and a rain-free forecast will continue.
A cold front will quietly move through the region Friday night and will usher in a fresh round of fall weather just in time for the weekend. Afternoon temperatures will drop back into upper 60s to lower 70s with overnight temperatures dropping into the upper 40s and lower 50s under mostly sunny skies.
